Understanding The Laws of Our Being
“Wonder is the Beginning of Wisdom”-Socrates
On a random evening in April 2012, I was at my kitchen sink washing dishes while pondering my life, the lives of friends and family and the world as a whole. It seemed as though, despite technology and education improving and more accessible than ever, that overall contentment with life and peace in war and economics were still elusive goals that our leaders promised to change for the better but always missed the mark by a large margin. Without going into too much detail, I stopped trying to figure out what was going on with our world and began to ask WHAT was going on with this world. Having no satisfying answers within me, my mind shut down and I had a Spiritually Transformative Experience that instantaneously changed my life where my body suddenly became huge--larger than not only my kitchen but the entire Earth. And as I looked down at my hands, the world was suspended in a ball of energy between my hands. It shifted then shifted back, then I was back at my kitchen sink. I thought I’d had a stroke, but determined everything was functioning properly so I went to bed. This one second, maybe even happening out of time, event sent me on a journey to understand what had happened that evening.
What I came to understand is that, true to promise, “Ask and you shall receive.” Well, I was asking and what I came to discover is that when we understand the Laws of our Being, the Universe becomes very User Friendly. Without this knowledge, what we create is done in ignorance with mixed results--sometimes very good and sometimes very chaotic. We are masters of moving energy whether we realize it or not. We do it without realizing it every moment of every day of our lives.
Quite literally, if all the atoms in one person’s body were fully functioning at their capacity, they would generate 11.5 billion kilowatt hours of power per pound. That is enough energy to supply an industrial city for an entire week. When those cells are ready to shed, a whole new system of cells replaces them.
In knowing this, what are we using this powerful energy to produce? Our world is a reflection of what we use our energy to produce. It is a diverse combination of the creative results of joy and melancholy, optimism and depression, courage and fear, revenge and forgiveness.
When my soul used such an extreme and unforgettable method to show me how important it was for me to understand the Laws of my Being, I gratefully put in the 10,000 hours to discover the depth of their meaning and now I take joy in sharing this with others.
